Troubleshooting

Problem: Windows 98, when running the setup, I recieve the error: A required .DLL file, MSVBVM60.DLL, was not found.
Click here to download the file.  Save it to C:\Windows\System.  Re-run the setup:  Insert the Visual Home Landscape CD.  Click on Start Button / Run.  Type in your CD letter :\setup.exe   Click OK.  Click on Run Setup button on the next screen.  Click OK.  

Problem: Tools do not appear to function.
A mask is probably on.  In the top toolbar, click on Mask / Remove Mask.   If Remove Mask command is gray (not active), a mask is not on.

Problem: Changes cannot be made on a finished image.
It was saved as the wrong file type.  Save it in .ppf file format.

Problem: Difficulty bringing in a photo from a scanner or digital camera.
Consult your scanner or camera manual to make sure the software driver CD is loaded for your computer to recognize this equipment.  In the Picture Publisher 10 program, click on File/Open to open a picture that is already downloaded to your computer.

Problem: My Visual Home Landscape Library is not showing up on the list in the ClipArt window.  
Double click on Private Media Collection to open it.  If it still does not show on the list, open the CD drive with the Visual Landscape Library CD, and then re-close the drive.  Wait a few seconds for loading.  Double click on Private Media Collection.  If this does not work, in the ClipArt window, go to Tools/Advanced/Manage Media.  The click File/Load Collection.  in the Look In box, find Visual Home Landscape and highlight Visual Home Landscape in the lower box.  Click on Load.  Return to ClipArt window.   Click on Visual Home Landscape library on the list to open.

Problem: I can't find my texture tools such as grass or mulch.
Check and see if you installed the setup file at the beginning of the manual.  Put in the Visual Landscape CD in the CD drive.  Click on Start / Run.  Type in CD letter :\setup.exe.  This will run the setup to install your textures.

Problem: I can't find some of my tools on my left tool bar.
